I am a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and have undertaken Medicolegal work in the UK since 1988. My Medical Reports are supplied primarily to Solicitors but also to Insurance firms and I deal with all aspects of musculoskeletal trauma. I deal with both Personal Injury cases and also with Clinical Negligence.
I have been formally trained as an Expert Witness and achieved The Certificate of Expert Witness Accreditation (Cardiff University / Bond Solon) in 2004. This certification involved training in Report writing (For a sample medical report click here), giving evidence in Court, the relevant Law theory and I was successfully examined in these matters.
I receive approx. 250 Instructions per year. My waiting time is approximately 4-6 weeks although I can see clients at very short notice should you require. The approximate ratio of work for Claimant : Defendant : Joint Instruction is of the order of 60 : 10 : 30%. I offer a personal service and am eager to work closely with you to meet your Firms' needs.
